Is there anything a mom enjoys more than a peacefully sleeping baby? Even cuter are the random positions they seem to find comfortable.

Two years ago, I had a wonderful Mother’s Day present . . . Jacob! I can’t believe my baby is 2. Here are some pics: Enjoying his farm animal puzzle! (A rare picture of me) Mom celebrating Mother’s Day and Jacob celebrating his 2nd birthday. Who doesn’t love bubbles? . . . [...] Poor Tim has had an on-again off-again minor stomach ailment that manifested itself again this morning. He threw up after breakfast. (The big bowl we always send around with a sick kid). After a bath and some comfort, he asks me, “Mom, I want that thing with the oil on my head like [...] “Beh-ee”, is one of Jacob’s favorite words. It means strawberries, blueberries, dried cranberries, and even grapes, on occasion. And he isn’t picky. They can be fresh, dried, in a smoothie, or even frozen. Check him out with his little sauce cup full of frozen blueberries. He had to take them out and then line them [...] Tom decided he wanted to go to the baptism at the church this afternoon. He didn’t mention me going, since that would entail dragging all the kids with us, and they would rather use the chairs for gymnastics instead of sitting quietly. An hour later, I mentioned that he might want to see if [...] I just made some fun posts over on my homeschool blog with pics and a video of the kids: Check out Jacob’s version of quiet time and painting. It’s even better when your older brother is the one spinning you. Here they are in the local Salvation Army gym, where we meet once a week for a homeschool 4H playgroup. (Notice how Tim, the ‘family clown’ can’t stay out of the video [...] The kids begged to stay up and watch the Olympics. Here are the results: (Can you find the remote in the picture below?
